There is a saying by Marc Anthony that goes something like this…  “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Welcome!

I want to take you on a journey that all started in the fall of November of 1999. You see, I was not aware at the time that starting a new business with a direct marketing company would forever change my life. I was a stay at home mom of a two-year-old searching for a way to not only contribute to our finances but for an opportunity that I could call my own. I decided that I would enter the world of entrepreneurship and have my own business. I was excited! I followed the system, and I did reasonably well. I ranked up in the organization, and I earned several cars during my time there. It wasn’t always easy, but I was 100% sold on this company, and I spent the next thirteen years leading a team and building a solid customer base. Then the unexpected occurred.

In January of 2012, my life forever changed. That month I had a minor dental procedure done, and within two weeks, I developed some severe pain in my face. After going in and out of the dentist’s office for weeks, we agreed that a root canal would be our best option. We scheduled the procedure only to have it postponed when I was involved in a car accident. The root canal was eventually completed, but the pain did not subside. Because of that, I requested that a neighboring tooth must be the problem, and it too needed a root canal done.

As you can guess, that did not solve the problem. I spent the next several months in and out of doctors’ offices, dentists’ offices, specialists’ offices, and ultimately in the ER. It was in May of that year while in the ER that the attending physician suggested that I see a neurologist. She thought I might have had something called Trigeminal Neuralgia. The diagnosis was later confirmed, and in the days following, I did acupuncture, TMJ treatment, steroid injections, and a host of medicines including opiates, muscle relaxers, and anti-seizure drugs. I even had a prescription for stomach pain because of the side effects of all the dosing.

Eventually, the pain subsided, and I was able to wean off of some of the medication. However, other complications were setting in. I was having difficulty eating and digesting food. I spent the next year and a half in and out of the GI doctor’s office, and in September of 2013, we decided to remove my gallbladder. As you can guess, that was not the fix either. After running multiple tests including, endoscopy, a CT of my pancreas, an MRI of my liver, and a gastric emptying test, in December of 2015, I decided that I was fed up with conventional medicine.

I set out on a journey to change the course of my health.

In April of 2016, after doing food logs and multiple food testing, I opted to try a Ketogenic diet as a last attempt to restore my health. I figured I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. I was still not sold that it would work, but I didn’t see an option. In May of that same year, I stepped down from my leadership position with the current company I was representing to focus my energy on getting better. You can not lead a team where you will not go, and I knew that my health was a priority. I worked with a nutritionist, and it wasn’t easy. It took me almost ten to eleven months before I started feeling any relief, but slowly and surely, I was beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was having more good days than dreaded awful days. As I was recovering, I found that I wanted to share what I had learned through my five-year struggle. I knew that others could benefit from my knowledge, and if I could save one person time, money, pain, and energy, it was worth it. As of today, I am pain-free and medicine-free.

I get to help people create success by teaching them how to make one small sustainable change. It’s through that change that we create wins, and when we develop wins, we build confidence. By increasing your self-confidence, success will be yours.
Not only can I spend my time helping others learn through my struggles and wins, but I also get to share products that support my passion. I get to talk about things like Keto, Carb cycling, Paleo, reducing sugars, running, meditation, weight loss coffee, and mindset. It’s honestly a winning solution for me. I get to help individuals that are looking to assist their families in making healthy choices or change their financial situation. I get to spend time with my family. I get to teach my kids the importance of good health, well being, and that of entrepreneurship. I get to show them that through struggle, they can achieve greatness. I am happy that you have visited my page, and I hope that my story, my fight, and my content can help you in some way. Thank you for stopping by!
